Vatican workshop on ethics in AI open to public

The Vatican event takes place on 26-28 February, and follows last year鈥檚 related workshop on ethics in robotics.
Anyone is welcome to take part in the 鈥淲orkshop 2020 on Artificial Intelligence鈥�, provided they .
Participants will explore AI in terms of ethics, law, and health.
The first two days of the study session will be spent discussing the question: 鈥淭he 鈥榞ood鈥� algorithm?鈥�.
The last day is dedicated to 鈥淩enAIssance: A Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence鈥�.
Addressing ethics of AI
Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, says the Academy has dedicated 2019-2020 to 鈥渞obo-ethics and to ethical-anthropological questions connected to the so-called artificial intelligence.鈥�
