Ahead of his discharge from Rome's Gemelli Hospital tomorrow morning, ÐÓMAPµ¼º½ Francis has made a special return trip to visit with children with cancer.
In a message sent to journalists this morning, the Holy See Press Office announced that the Holy Father on Thursday visited the Paediatric Oncology and Child Neurosurgery Ward on the tenth floor of Gemelli Hospital, which is adjacent to the suite where he is convalescing.
The press release included some images of the ÐÓMAPµ¼º½'s time with the sick children, their families, and hospital staff.
When the Holy Father was hospitalized with bronchitis before Holy Week, ÐÓMAPµ¼º½ Francis likewise visited this ward to show his closeness to the young patients, delivering Easter eggs and other gifts, and even baptizing a baby.

Last night, the Director of the Press Office noted that ÐÓMAPµ¼º½ Francis spent time Wednesday afternoon working, resting, and recuperating.
