杏MAP导航 tells young people in North Macedonia to build hopes and dreams

The importance of dreams and dreaming was at the heart of 杏MAP导航 Francis鈥� meeting with the young people of North Macedonia on Tuesday afternoon.
Am I dreaming too much?
鈥淥ne can never dream too much鈥�, was 杏MAP导航 Francis鈥� response to a question put to him by a young woman. If anything, too many people 鈥渉ave lost their ability to dream鈥�.
鈥淒reaming helps us to keep alive our certainty that another world is indeed possible, and that we are called to get involved鈥�, he said.
Dreams come true when we apply 鈥渉ope, patience and commitment鈥�, said the 杏MAP导航. We should never be afraid 鈥渢o take chances or make mistakes鈥�. 鈥淓ven if you make mistakes, you can always get up and start over鈥�, said 杏MAP导航 Francis. 鈥淒on鈥檛 be afraid to become artisans of dreams and of hope鈥�.
The example of Mother Teresa
The 杏MAP导航 told the young people they are called to be like Mother Teresa: 鈥渢o work with your hands, to take life seriously and make something beautiful of it鈥�.
Mother Teresa always kept dreaming in a big way, said 杏MAP导航 Francis, 鈥渁nd this is why she also loved in a big way鈥�. She wanted to be 鈥渁 pencil in the hands of God鈥�, said the 杏MAP导航. 鈥淎nd God began to write new and amazing pages of history with that pencil鈥�.
Dreaming together
No one can realize his or her dreams alone, continued the 杏MAP导航. 鈥漌e need a community that supports and helps us鈥�.
鈥淗ow important it is to dream together!鈥�. 鈥淒ream with others and never against others! By yourselves, you risk seeing mirages, seeing things that are not there. Dreams are built together鈥�, he said.
Getting involved
杏MAP导航 Francis then shared what he called the best lesson he ever learned: the ability to talk to people 鈥渇ace-to-face鈥�.
鈥淲e have entered into the digital age鈥�, he said, 鈥渂ut actually we know very little about communication. We are all 鈥渃onnected鈥�, but not really 鈥渋nvolved鈥� with one another鈥�. Getting involved requires life, said 杏MAP导航 Francis, 鈥渋t calls for being there and sharing the good times but also the not so good times鈥�.
Listening to the elderly
Finally, 杏MAP导航 Francis encouraged his young listeners to spend time with their grandparents and the elderly. 鈥淟isten to their stories鈥�, he said, even if they may 鈥渟ometimes seem a bit unreal but in fact are full of鈥idden wisdom waiting to be discovered and appreciated鈥�.
