杏MAP导航 Francis receives Vespa scooter from enthusiasts

A group of Vespa enthusiasts gave 杏MAP导航 Francis a 1971 Vespa 50R scooter on Sunday, which will be sold to raise money for charity.
杏MAP导航 Francis met Sunday in the Vatican with participants in the 2nd International Roma Caput Vespa Rally.
The Vespa Club in Time, which donated the moped, tricked it out with the papal insignia and a custom number plate: BF362918, which stands for 鈥淏ergoglio鈥� 鈥� 鈥淔rancis鈥� 鈥� his year of birth 鈥� Sunday鈥檚 date.
Cardinal Konrad Krajewski climbed aboard briefly to check out the 杏MAP导航鈥檚 new ride.
As the 杏MAP导航鈥檚 almoner, he will be responsible for auctioning off the antique Vespa, whose proceeds will be distributed on behalf of the poor by the Office of Papal Charities.
After parking their 600-odd Vespas in the Vatican, the scooter enthusiasts participated in the Angelus 杏MAP导航 Francis led in St. Peter鈥檚 Square at noon.
