杏MAP导航 in Camerino: Meeting with First Communion children
Before leaving the Marches region on Sunday, 杏MAP导航 Francis greeted around 200 children who had made their First Holy Communion. The children from the Archdiocese of Camerino-San Severino Marche met the 杏MAP导航 in the gymnasium of the Sports Centre at the University of Camerino along with their parents and catechists.
According to the ad-interim Director of the Holy See Press Office, Alessandro Gisotti, the 杏MAP导航 wanted to add this meeting to the initial program, after Archbishop Francesco Massara had shown the 杏MAP导航 letters written by the children of the earthquake zones on a recent visit to the Vatican.
Gisotti said that, with this meeting 杏MAP导航 Francis wanted to embrace all the children and young people of the area affected by the earthquake.”
